{"id":2429,"date":"2017-04-08T00:07:49","date_gmt":"2017-04-07T17:07:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.actlogistics.vn\/atlas-air-reaches-tentative-deal-with-dispatchers-union-over-amazons-cvg-move\/"},"modified":"2017-04-08T00:07:49","modified_gmt":"2017-04-07T17:07:49","slug":"atlas-air-reaches-tentative-deal-with-dispatchers-union-over-amazons-cvg-move","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.actlogistics.vn\/en\/atlas-air-reaches-tentative-deal-with-dispatchers-union-over-amazons-cvg-move\/","title":{"rendered":"Atlas Air reaches tentative deal with dispatchers union over Amazon\u2019s CVG move"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dispatchers working for carriers Atlas Air and Polar Air Cargo Worldwide are set to receive a four-year extension on their contract, including pay increases and relocation benefits, after its operations move to Cincinnati\/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) as part of Amazon\u2019s planned relocation to CVG from Wilmington.<br \/>\nAtlas Air Worldwide Holdings (AAWW) reached the tentative agreement today with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) Local 210, which represents the dispatchers of the subsidiary carriers owned by AAWW.<br \/>\nThe company\u2019s dispatchers are responsible for planning, dispatching and oversight of all Atlas and Polar aircraft during flight.<br \/>\nA World Atlas Boeing 747 aircraft takes off from Kabul international Airport, Kabul, Afghanistan, Dec. 13, 2010.<br \/>\nDetails of the proposed agreement will be made available to dispatch employees it covers by IBT Local 210. \u201cWe are pleased to have reached this tentative agreement that offers highly competitive pay increases as well as favorable moving allowances for our valued dispatchers. It also extends a solid contract that continues to serve us all very well,\u201d said John Dietrich, executive vice president and COO of Atlas Air Worldwide.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, negotiations between Atlas\u2019 pilots union, the Airline Professionals Association Teamsters, Local 1224, have yet to produce mutually agreeable terms.
