Reflecting the surge in demand for domestic express services in China, Boeing formally launched a passenger-to-freighter conversion program for the 737-800. At a ceremony at the Boeing Shanghai facility this morning, the aircraft manufacturer also revealed that it has received a firm order of thirty 737-800BCF aircraft, plus commitments for another 25, from several customers, including China-based YTO Airlines and China Postal Airlines.
